LATIN The Latin group will break for the Summer on 7 July, having worked hard on nouns, verbs and adjectives over the last year. It will start again on 17 September after having met for a coffee at King John's Hunting Lodge in August. The group was approached by Zoe Ross, a languages teacher at John Bentley School in Calne, with a view to joining occasionally with an after-school Latin group of 11-14 year olds who are also learning Latin for pleasure – the object of the association being to help each other and show that learning goes on all through life and can be fun as you grow older.
